A parent orientation meeting for Our Whole Lives, a sexuality education program that will be offered to teens in the spring and fall jointly by the Unitarian Universalist Congregations of Marblehead and Salem, is being held Saturday, Jan. 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Marblehead congregation, 28 Mugford St. The program, which offers registration to nonmembers, will be held in 18 sessions divided between meetings in the spring and then again in the fall, and will provide some sessions at each location. The curriculum has been offered at many private schools, which purchase it from the denomination headquarters. Trainers for the program attend mandatory training and are prescreened by the congregations. The parent orientation meeting is mandatory for participating families and includes a sign-off by parents and guardians. Two socials will follow, in February and March, for the group and its leaders. Registration for non-UU members is $120. For more information, contact Irene Praeger, director of religious education, UU Marblehead, at email@example.com or 508-207-2112. Visit www.uua.org/re/owl/.
