Kickoff Celebration and Breakfast, St. Richard’s Parish, 90 Forest St., Danvers. To mark the church’s 50-year anniversary. Pancake breakfast, 8 to 11 a.m., in the church hall, includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausages, fruit salad, juice, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. $3/adults, $2/children under 12, $10/maximum per family. Tickets will be sold at all Masses and on the day of the event. “Celebrate What’s Right With the World,” 10 a.m., Unitarian Universalist Church of Greater Lynn, 101 Forest Ave., Swampscott. During the worship service, attendees will watch short film by National Geographic photographer and Academy Award nominee Dewitt Jones.
