Description: “I arrived to work early in order to take some photos of the sunrise, because the campus of Essex Aggie is so beautiful in the morning light. Reflections of the sky are especially beautiful, so I walked around different buildings to find just the right photo, not realizing the best would be taken from the roof of my car.
“Photography has been a hobby of mine for as long as I can remember. I’ve owned many more technical cameras but have found that my iPhone takes some pretty good pictures, as well. I especially like to take photos of reflections. Whether they are in windows, mirrors, puddles or even raindrops, they never cease to amaze me.”

“Wild colors dazzle your eyes in this stunning photo. Using the reflection of the sunrise on the car roof worked wonderfully.
“The curve of the car roof creates a spherical effect. The dark space at the bottom of the photo trails off nicely, emphasizing the curve. Also, the curve tugs at the horizon line. A horizon line that splits an image in half normally gives a landscape photo a peaceful stillness.”
