Celebrate Punxsutawney Phil, the weather-forecasting groundhog, and his 127th prediction, during Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary’s Groundhog Day Extravaganza tomorrow from 1 to 4 p.m. at 87 Perkins Row in Topsfield. Families with children of all ages are invited for an afternoon of ongoing activities, including nature hikes, snow sculptures, a groundhog obstacle course, crafts, refreshments and more. The groundhog celebration and puppet show will be held at 2 p.m. in the barn. Warm dress is encouraged, as many events will take place outdoors. The cost is $9 for adults and $7 for children, with discounts available for Mass Audubon members. Advance registration is required at 978-887-9264.
