Join the Middleton Stream Team on its annual winter discovery hike today, from 1 to 4, to explore the habitats of beavers, birds and other wildlife on the upland banks of impoundments and on safe frozen surfaces. Meet at 12:50 p.m. at the unpaved section of North Liberty Street, about a mile north of Prichard’s Pond in Middleton; the hike will start and end at same location. Bring cameras and wear warm clothing, hats, gloves and nonslip foot gear. Also, hiking sticks are encouraged, as there may be rough spots and ice. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome.
