The Tannery Series returns to PEM/PM tonight with award-winning authors and a presentation that explores the centrality of African-American art and artfulness and the American identity. Tonight's event, “Indivisible: We the People in Black, White and Gray,” includes food, music and a cash bar. It's free for Peabody Essex Museum members and Salem residents with ID, $10 for nonmembers, and takes place from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the museum's atrium, in East India Square, Salem.
