A free reception for “Woodcut: Blocks and Prints,” Don Gorvett’s exhibit featuring large-scale reduction woodcut prints, will take place at 2 p.m. at the Winfisky Gallery, Ellison Campus Center, Salem State University, 352 Lafayette St., Salem. Visitors will not only be able to see the prints but also the rarely-seen massive woodblocks which yield the prints. Can't make it today? The exhibit is on view through Oct. 9.
