PJ Library New Pajama Drive, 3 to 4:30 p.m., Richardson’s Ice Cream, 156 S. Main St., Middleton. The Robert I. Lappin Charitable Foundation, in partnership with Richardson’s, invites families of the PJ Library to donate new pajamas, which will be distributed to local shelters. Children who donate a pair of new pajamas will receive a scoop of Richardson’s ice cream of their choice. New pajamas of all sizes are needed. 978-740-4404 or posher@rilcf.org.

Advent Adult Education Scripture Program, 7 to 8:30 p.m., Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish Hall, 80 Atlantic Ave., Marblehead. Make and Take Shabbat Boxes, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., Cohen Hillel Academy, 6 Community Road, Marblehead. Children and parents are invited to make original-designed Shabbat boxes to take home, filled with a kiddish cup, Shabbat candles, Shabbat blessings, a sheet of family discussion questions and challah. Saturday, Dec. 8

Fair Trade Advent Fair, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Maple Street Church, Social Hall, 90 Maple St., Danvers. The third annual fair features handcrafts by local artists and from around the world: jewelry, ornaments, textiles and original artwork. Also, various organizations will be represented. Sponsored by the World Service Committee of Maple Street Church. All proceeds support the crafters. 978-774-4510.
