Honoring veterans

POTLUCK SUPPER HONORING VETERANS. Thursday, Nov. 7, 5:30 p.m., Judge Samuel Holten House, 171 Holten St., Danvers. The General Israel Putnam Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will host a potluck supper to honor veterans. Veterans, guests, and all others are welcome to attend the annual Veterans Day program.

VETERANS DAY CEREMONY IN DANVERS. Monday, Nov. 11, 11 a.m., Thorpe School, Avon Road, Danvers. Program pays tribute to veterans living and deceased and will conclude with the dedication of the monument at Danvers veterans memorial fields next to the school. Guest speaker is retired Army Capt. Charles Gould, commander of the Danvers American Legion Post No. 180 and a former Danvers resident. VETERANS DAY PROGRAM IN BEVERLY. Monday, Nov. 11, 11 a.m., Veterans Memorial at Odell Park in front of the Beverly Post Office on Rantoul Street. A collation will take place following the program at the Herman A. Spear Post 331 on Judson Street. In case of rain, a short program will take place at the Herman A. THE KIOSK FOR LIVING WELL. Tuesday, Nov. 12, 9 a.m. to noon, Beverly Senior Center, 90 Colon St., Beverly. “The Kiosk for Living Well” will honor veterans with programs geared specifically toward those who have served in the U.S. armed forces.
