Earth Day Service, 10 to 11 a.m., Unitarian Universalist Church of Greater Lynn, 101 Forest Ave., Swampscott. Attendees will have an opportunity to make a pledge to reduce, reuse and/or recycle with more intention. Children from the faith development classes will play the musical instruments that they created using recycled materials. Inspirational Evenings: “Reach for the Stars! (Jayzee’s Story),” 6:30 to 7:45 p.m., Hamilton-Wenham Public Library, 14 Union St., Hamilton. Autobiographical musical video by Jorgelina Zeoli (“Jayzee”) about healing from trauma; video includes excerpts from her autobiographical novel, “Flashback,” parts one and three. Through music, art and poetry, the video portrays Jayzee’s inner transformation from the horrors of military violence and childhood trauma to a meditative state of inner peace.
