Fair to help foundation
Catherine's Craft Fair was named for Catherine MacLean, a survivor of aplastic anemia, who organized and ran the fundraiser for the past nine years. This year, the Hamilton teenager is away at college, so her brother and friends are running the event to benefit The Aplastic Anemia and Myelodysplastic Syndromes International Foundation, which helps those suffering from bone marrow diseases. This year's fair is set for Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 62 Union St. in South Hamilton and will include crafts, food, games, a yard sale and a six-hole mini-golf course.
