All eligible and new blood donors are welcome to attend an American Red Cross community blood drive at Northeast Arc, 6 Southside Road, Danvers, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Donors receive a chance to win two Red Sox tickets and be honored at the game. Can't make it in the morning? The monthly Brown Bag Lunch at Ipswich Museum features Kerry Mackin, former director of Ipswich River Watershed Association and museum docent, who will talk about the Ipswich River, its historical uses and its current condition. This event, at noon at the museum, 54 S. Main St., Ipswich, is free for Ipswich seniors and museum members, $5 for nonmembers.
