Tomorrow, Join the "Flip Flop Friends" for their third annual Mother’s Day Walk, at 9 a.m. at Ross Park, on Johnson Street in Peabody. The Power of Pink walk, a fundraiser to support the group's participation in the Susan G. Komen 60-mile, three-day walk, July 26-28 in Boston, will follow the Independence Greenway Bike Path. Attendees are asked to wear pink. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by 9 a.m. walk. Cost is $5 for student walkers, $10 for adult walkers, with a suggested $25 donation per family.
North of Boston Arts Center presents its first original musical, “Magic Fruit: The Tale of a Real Smoothie,” at 2 p.m., at the Memorial Building, 502 Cabot St., Beverly.
