Join photographer and tour guide Richard Ferland on a whirlwind tour of China from 10:15 a.m. to noon, at the Hamilton-Wenham Public Library, located at 14 Union St., Hamilton. The program is geared toward recreational tourists and business travelers, people who enjoy travel documentaries and anyone interested in photography and art. Attendees will learn how to minimize potentially-awkward situations as Ferland's presentation will also cover communication, etiquette and helpful key phrases. Tune in to the wholesome harmonies of Sorellanza, a female a cappella group that will perform pop songs, American folk tunes, Beatles songs, 16th-century sacred music, and international folk songs from Spain, Israel and England. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. at Northshore Unitarian Universalist Church, located at 323 Locust St., Danvers. Admission is $15 per person and free for children under 12. Cheer on your local task force during a benefit ice hockey game to support the Peabody Police Benevolent Association. At 8 p.m., the Peabody Police Benevolent Association will take on the Black and Gold Legends at the McVann-O'Keefe Memorial Skating Rink, located at 511 Lowell St., Peabody.
