Saturday, March 9

Third annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner, 5:30 p.m., St. Richard Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner served. Live entertainment by the St. John’s Prep Celtic Band, Irish step dancing by O’Shea Chaplin Irish Dancers and raffle baskets donated by Parish ministry groups. $12/adults, $9/children 10 and under, free/children 5 and under. Sunday, March 10

PJ Library Sing-along Seder, 3 to 4:30 p.m., Temple B’nai Abraham, 200 E. Lothrop St. Families with children ages 8 and younger are invited to the Jewish program. Cantor Gaston Bogomolni will teach attendees how to sing and creatively move through a Passover Seder. Designed for families with young children, while teaching parents creative ways to bring the experience home. Free. Grandparents welcome to attend. Passover Story Hour, 10:30 a.m., Flint Public Library, 1 S. Main St., Middleton. Special Passover story hour. Read stories, sing Passover songs, make a Passover craft and enjoy a snack. St. Patrick’s Day Mass, 4 p.m., Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish, 80 Atlantic Ave., Marblehead. Mass with Celtic harpist followed by a social in the Parish Center with Irish step dancers from Sheila Bremer’s School of Irish Dance. www.staroftheseamarblehead.org.

Sunday, March 17

Matzah Melodies Preschool Program, 1 to 2 p.m., Cohen Hillel Academy, 6 Community Road, Marblehead. Families with preschool-age children are invited for a craft project, Passover treats and Passover songs. Miss Ari will teach songs to share during Passover Seder. Free. Model Matzah Bakery, 3:30 p.m., Chabad of Peabody, 83 Pine St., Peabody. Children of all ages are invited to experience the Model Matzah Bakery. From threshing and winnowing the wheat stalks to kneading and rolling, each child will bake their own matzo from scratch. Parents are invited to join their children or join in a discussion/class on how to create a fun, interactive Passover Seder that will keep young children engaged and excited. Barnes & Noble Passover Story Hour, 4 p.m., Barnes & Noble, Northshore Mall, Andover Street, Peabody. Read stories, sing Passover songs, make a Passover craft and enjoy a snack. Friday, March 22

Tina Luce Music Ministry Concert, 7 p.m., St. Richard’s, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Tina Luce, worship leader from Wesley United Methodist Church in Salem, will perform a worship concert in support of church’s 50-year celebration. Free admission; donations accepted.

Saturday, March 23
