The Middleton Arts Association will host North Shore artist Steve Greco who will present an abstract acrylic demonstration tonight from 6:30 to 8 at the Middleton Senior Center, 38 Maple St. Attendees painting at the event should bring their own canvas surface and acrylic paint; use of another medium is fine. Salem Sound Coastwatch and the National Park Service kick off a free lecture series on climate change in New England tonight with a presentation by Dr. Cameron Wake of the University of New Hampshire’s Climate and Sustainability Institute, who will provide an overview of climate change in New England. This free lecture begins at 7:30 p.m. at the National Park Service Visitors Center, 2 New Liberty St., Salem. Parking available at the Museum Place Garage for 75 cents per hour.
