As part of Beverly Public Library’s Monday Mornings lecture series, pianist Dan Murphy, bassist Pierre LeMieux, and vocalist Maureen Pilot will present a selection of songs from the catalog of Frank Sinatra, “Ol’ Blue Eyes.” Light refreshments will be served at 9 a.m., followed by the program from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the library's Sohier Room at 32 Essex St. in Beverly. Enjoy stories and songs about goats, then meet two of these four-legged creatures, Sweetie and Darling, with their owner, Jeremy, at Hamilton-Wenham Public Library's Giddy Goat Storytime at 10:30 a.m. There will be plenty of time for pictures and petting. Love dogs, art and all things colorful? Check out Amanda Beard's exhibit “Corgis, Cupcakes & Quirks” at a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Bilodeau Lounge of Endicott College's Walter J. Manninen Center for the Arts, located at 376 Hale St. in Beverly. A 2012 graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Beard currently works as a staff assistant for Endicott's Center for the Arts and is pursuing a career as an illustrator for children's books.
