Boston-area artist Bahar Yurukoglu presents her first solo exhibition, now on view at Montserrat College of Art 301 Gallery, 301 Cabot St., Beverly. In "Melting North," Yurukoglu investigates how light interacts with the natural and man-made landscape through the combination of photography, sculpture and moving image. The gallery is open today and other weekdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m. Interested art fans can also make an appointment to view the exhibit off-hours.
