Get your antiques appraised

Ever wonder how much that painting is worth? Or that porcelain lamp collecting dust? Find out tomorrow from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., when the Friends of Swampscott Public Library host Kaminski appraiser Mary Westcott for an Antiques Appraisal Day. Attendees can bring items for appraisal to the library, 61 Burrill St., Swampscott. The price for appraisals is $10 for one item, or $25 for three items. Jewelry, coins and stamps will not be accepted, but photographs of large items can be appraised. Proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Swampscott Public Library.
