‘Star Wars’ fans feel the Force

Jedis, Ewoks, droids and other “Star Wars” enthusiasts are invited to Swampscott Public Library’s Star Wars Symposium tomorrow from 10:30 a.m. to noon at 61 Burrill St. Aspiring galaxy explorers can play Star Wars games on Xbox 360; show-and-tell their toys, collectibles or any other Star Wars artifact; hear a special presentation from a Star Wars expert, and ask questions, too; and rack up points with correct answers to Star Wars Trivia. Star Wars costumes are strongly encouraged — real Lightsabers are not. Prizes will be awarded to the attendee with the best costume, best show-and-tell item, and the highest number of correct trivia answers. Peter Struzziero of the Scituate Public Library will run the free program, which is suitable for teens and families with children ages 5 and older. For more information, call 781-596-8867.
