WATERCOLOR AND MIXED MEDIA EXHIBIT. On view through Thursday, Sept. 5, at the Gallery at Grosvenor Park, Grosvenor Park Nursing Center and Rehab, 7 Loring Hills Ave., Vinnin Square, Salem. LAURA ELKINS STOVER. On view throughout September at Northshore Unitarian Universalist Church, 323 Locust St., Danvers. Oil, pastel and acrylic paintings by local artist Laura Elkins Stover will be on view. Stover is best known for her still-life paintings, portraits and paintings of animals. Festivals and gatherings

FAMILY FESTIVAL AND CRAFT FAIR. Saturday, Aug. 24, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wenham Museum lawn, 132 Main St., Wenham. Forty-first annual fair features more than 60 juried regional artisans offering unique handcrafted items, family activities, barbecued food and open museum galleries. The Community Band will perform from 1 to 3 p.m. Also, bring a doll to the doll clinic for minor repairs, appraisal referrals or to schedule repair appointments, and commission a keepsake.
