St. John’s School presents musical based on the book of Genesis that draws on the themes of contentment, commitment, conflict, family, determination, love, the strength of individuality, and the challenges and blessings of free will. “LATE NITE CATECHISM.” Thursday, May 2, through Sunday, May 5, 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, May 4, and Sunday, May 5, 2 p.m., Larcom Theatre, 13 Wallis St., Beverly. Catechism classes are never as much fun — or as hilarious — as when they are led by Sister in the international hit comedy by Vicki Quade and Maripat Donovan.
