Families with children are invited to learn about dinosaurs and how to find fossils with fossil hunter Paulette Morin today at 10 a.m. at the Beverly Public Library Sohier Room, 32 Essex St., Beverly. More than 100 fossil specimens will be available to examine. This free program is part of the library’s Dig Into Reading summer reading program. The rock, funk and jam band Entrain kicks off the 2013 Summer Picnic Concert Series at Castle Hill, 290 Argilla Road, Ipswich, tonight at 7. Gates open 5 p.m. for picnicking and close once capacity is reached. Admission is at the gate only; $30 per car, $20 per car for members of The Trustees of Reservations, $10 for walk-ins.
