This evening, North Shore composers Jim Dalton, Karl Henning, Charles Turner and Nancy Rexford will join flutist Peter Bloom, violinist Rachel Wimmer Shiryayeva, and singers Maggi-Smith-Dalton and Naomi Gurt Lind to present “Bards, Gazelles, Squirrels and Sonatas,” a musical program full of references to jazz, Irish, Japanese and even medieval music. The concert starts at 7:30 at Holy Trinity United Methodist Church, 16 Sylvan St., Danvers. Admission is free and open to the public. The church is handicapped-accessible. Beverly-area residents and businesses with unwanted appliances and electronics can call to have them picked up for ethical recycling. Available pickup times are from 10 to 8 today, tomorrow and Sunday, rain, snow or shine. Recycling fees apply to certain electronics and appliances, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Beverly Bootstraps.
