Anointing Mass, 2 p.m., St. Mary of the Annunciation Parish, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Special Mass that will include the anointing of the sick. Any of the faithful whose health is seriously impaired by illness, injury or old age are welcome to receive the sacrament of anointing. 978-774-0340.

Friday, Nov. 30

Kirkin’ o’ the Tartan Evensong, 7 p.m., Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church, 188 Elliott St., Danvers. Celebrate the annual Feast of St. Andrew, the patron saint of Scotland, at a traditional Evensong with a bagpiper providing appropriate music. Attendees are invited to bring items from their national heritage to place on the altar for blessing; these are not limited to things Scottish. Attendees are also invited to wear a traditional national costume. Service to pray for the peoples of all nations. A festive reception will follow in the Parish Hall. www.ctr-anglican.org.

Silent Auction Preview Party, 7 to 9 p.m., St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 12 Washington St., Peabody. Complimentary refreshments, plus a mini auction and mystery balloon raffle. All proceeds benefit St. Paul’s Church and its community outreach programs.

Saturday, Dec. 1

Red Bow Fair, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Unitarian Universalist Church of Marblehead, 28 Mugford St. Gift baskets, fresh greens, gifts, lunch, books, computers, kids activities, white elephant items, bake goods, raffles for lobster, quilt and dollhouse, and more.
