Santa Claus has a special place in his heart for pets, and on Saturday, he will meet and pose for pictures with pets from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave., Salem. The $6 sitting fee includes one 4-by-6-inch photo and a goody bag. Humans and their pets can enjoy raffles and light refreshments, too. All pets with paws are welcome to attend.
