Take your pick from two annual walks taking place today.
The 38th annual Walk for Haiti kicks off today at 9 a.m. on the track adjacent to the Torigian Life Center, 79 Central St., Peabody. The walk, sponsored by Faith and Concern Inc. of Peabody, raises money for Haiti's continuing recovery from the earthquake of 2010. All are invited to participate, or to make a donation. The 34th annual Good Friday Walk, which starts at ends at St. John the Evangelist Church on Cabot Street in Beverly, raises money for North Shore families in need. Registration runs from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., and all registered walkers will receive T-shirts. The route heads down Hale Street to St. John's Episcopal Church in Beverly Farms, where lunch will be served.
