A sweet challenge
Teens, show off your creativity in Flint Public Library’s Cupcake Challenge on Wednesday at 6 p.m. Confectioners ages 13 to 19 will put their artistic skills to the test in a cupcake-decorating competition. An expert cupcake decorator will briefly discuss different decorating techniques, then teens will decorate their own mini cakes. A panel of three judges will select a cupcake champion based on his or her cupcakes’ creativity and looks. At the end of the evening, all participants will be able to enjoy their treats. The contest is sponsored by the Friends of the Flint, and all supplies will be provided. Since space is limited, sign up in advance at the library, 1 S. Main St., Middleton, or call 978-774-8132.
