SHAMROCK SWEEPSTAKES. The Boys & Girls Club of Salem is hosting the fourth annual sweepstakes on Thursday, March 14, at the Moose Family Lodge, 50 Grove St., Salem. The event features more than $13,000 in prizes: first prize, $10,000; second prize, $1,000; third prize, $500; seven $200 prizes. Only 300 tickets are sold, and participants have a 30-1 chance of winning. Sweepstakes tickets cost $100 (split with friends and co-workers). BENEFIT DOG WASH. Sunday, March 17, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., North Shore Dog, 139 Endicott St., behind Market Basket, Danvers. To benefit the Friends of Danvers Dog Park, a group of residents raising money to build a dog park at Endicott Park. Free bath; $20 suggested donation. Dogs will leave with festive bandana. HAWC BENEFIT. Tuesday, March 19, 5 to 7 p.m., Tavern in the Square, 189 Washington St., Salem. Join HAWC’s staff, volunteers and others who are passionate about breaking the cycle of violence and oppression. Raffle tickets available for purchase to benefit HAWC.

DINNER DEALER DECKS. PALS Animal Life Savers, Salem’s only all-volunteer feline rescue group, is supporting their PetSmart Adoption Center through the sale of Dinner Dealer Decks. Each card in the deck is a coupon to a restaurant that may be used once. All of the participating restaurants offer a discount, such as $5 off a $20 meal, $10 off $30 or $20 off $50. More than 40 restaurants between Swampscott and Newburyport are showcased in this discount dining. Discounts may be cashed in throughout 2013. Decks are $25 each, and a portion of each sale goes to PALS. or
