Teens and adults alike are welcome to a "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" workshop, using Betty Edward's classic text, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Hamilton-Wenham Public Library, 14 Union St., Hamilton. Teacher Bonnie Ashmore-Davis will provide guidance throughout the workshop. For more information or to register, contact Rebecca Shea at 978-468-5577 or rshea@mvlc.org.

As part of Social Media Week, the Peabody Institute Library in Danvers will host author and blogger Julia Newman, who will be reading from and signing her short story collection, “The Loose Lip Brigade,” at 7 p.m. The library is at 15 Sylvan St. For more information, call 978-774-0554.
