Head over to the Harvest Festival at Green Meadows Farm from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 656 Asbury St. in South Hamilton. Festivities include kid-friendly events, an obstacle course, hay rides, games, food, face painting, live music by The Dixie Cookbooks, and more. Everyone is welcome to attend this free celebration. Visit the Beverly waterfront at Glover Wharf for the city of Beverly's third annual Harbor Fest from 3 to 6 p.m. Enjoy live music, prize drawings, activities for children, food, and much more. This free event takes place at 1 Water St. in Beverly.

Get ready for Ipswich ReCreation & Culture's Drive-In Double Feature at Crane Beach tonight, featuring a screening of “Field of Dreams” at 7:30 p.m., and “The Perfect Storm” at 9:30 p.m., in the town lot at 310 Argilla Road in Ipswich. Gates open at 7 p.m. Watch from inside a car, or bring a lawn chair and sit up front. Admission is a suggested donation of $20 per carload and $5 for walk-ins. The Ipswich High School Interact Club will also be selling concessions. In case of rain, the event will be held on Sept. 14. Sunday, Sept. 8

Children ages 5 to 8 (with an adult) are invited to the Peabody Essex Museum to read “This Moose Belongs to Me,” and then create a painting inspired by Oliver Jeffers' illustrations.
