We are all on a trail in life.
Some of these trails are literal; others are metaphoric, like youth, marriage, parenthood or vocation.
As part of a new exhibition at the Marblehead Arts Association, artist Jeff Trubiscz has put together a selection of work from his own personal trail that depicts his wonderment with the mountains, coasts, forests and wilderness, titled "On the Trail."
He is among a group of artists featured in the September exhibits at the Arts Association, including a retrospective of work by the late Beth Hendrick, a local artist who left her mark on the Marblehead art scene.
Al Carfgna, in his exhibit "Myth, Mystery, and Mysticism," offers his surreal and abstract art through digital paintings that deal with "man's search for answers to the nature of reality."
In "Around New England's Shores," artist Mike Ferro captures the calm, spiritual nature of New England's landscape.
In the Emerging Artist Gallery, artist Alexis J. Baliotis stages "The Inner Struggle," a collection of her oil paintings that show the individual's inner struggle worn on the outside of the body.
