Get a virtual tour of Arizona and the Greek islands during an illustrated slideshow by Beverly resident John Archer. As part of Beverly Public Library’s Monday Mornings adult lecture series, Archer will share photos of his own travels to both destinations. Light refreshments will be served at 9 a.m., followed by the program at 9:30 a.m., in the library’s Sohier Room, located at 32 Essex St., Beverly. The event is free and open to the public. Did you know Ipswich has connections to President Abraham Lincoln? Learn more at noon when Ipswich Museum member and seasonal weekend manager Bob Purzycki presents “Ipswich and Its Connections to President Lincoln,” which complements the museum’s current winter exhibit titled “Ipswich and the Civil War.”  The lecture is part of the museum’s monthly Brown Bag Lunch series, and will be held at 54 South Main St., Ipswich.
