The light from two flashes gives this image with a nice, soft, even light. Focusing on the front cookie at f/2.8 creates a blurred background, gradually receding back and guiding the viewer’s eye through the frame. The colors of the cookie decorations pop against the whites and make the viewer’s eye go right toward the in-focus areas.
