St. John's Episcopal Church is breaking the silence with a 4 p.m. screening of the 1928 silent film “The Docks of New York,” featuring live accompaniment by award-winning pipe organist Peter Krasinski, a specialist in the art of live silent film accompaniment. The event will be held at the church, 705 Hale St., Beverly Farms, and is sponsored in part by the Manchester Cultural Council. Attendees can meet the artist at a reception following the performance.
