What farmer Bob Connors has in store for this year's corn maze might just make your day.
Last year, Connors Farm grew a maze in the form of "Family Guy" characters Stewie and Brian Griffin. The cartoon's creator, Seth MacFarlane, even paid an unannounced visit to the Danvers farm.
This year's maze features a portrait of "American Legend" Clint Eastwood chomping on a cigar in "High Plains Drifter" fashion.
"He is my favorite actor," Connors said. "Hopefully, he will be flattered and come out to see us."
And what is the possibility of that happening?
"He's coming, no question, he's coming. He'll be here this fall," Connors said.
Not to be outdone, Marini Farm on Linebrook Road in Ipswich will open its "Lost Treasure of Castle Hill" corn maze. This year's maze takes the form of a pirate ship sailing with a skull and crossbones depicted on its sail.
Both mazes open Sept. 11.
