GLENDALE, ARIZ. | The crowd roared as Patriots quarterback Tom Brady ran onto the field before the game.

All of the fans hadn't even found their seats at that point, but they still made enough noise to fill the University of Phoenix Stadium | the site of today's Super Bowl matchup between the New England Patriots and the New York Giants.

Fans cheered as players from the Giants jogged onto the field. They cheered about three times louder when the Patriots came running out at 3:15 p.m., then again when Brady took the field.

"I think it's going to be a blowout. Patriots 47, Giants 3," Groveland resident Patrick Fay said from his seat in the highest row of the massive stadium.

Alicia Keys performed the pregame show. The retractable roof is closed and the National Weather Service said there is a 30 percent chance of rain.

Green Bay Packers fan Mike Edwards, 24, of Madison, Wis., walked around the stadium wearing a Packers jersey, a hat that looked like a piece of cheese and a sign saying, "We should have been here."

Edwards said he is cheering for the Patriots. He predicted a score of 35-22.
