Police received an 8:38 report that an alarm was sounding somewhere on Pleasant Street. Police wrote later: “Glenn said it was a signal for the boiler being out. He said it is supposed to text him if the signal activates, but they were in middle of reprogramming it, and it did not get him a message.”

Police responded to a store on Pleasant Street after a 2:45 p.m. complaint regarding a customer there. Police wrote: “Employee said male entered the store, tried to walk out without paying, returned looking for a free refill and then left and returned a third time with a dog. He was asked to leave, and he did, but he has now returned and is sitting in the [motor vehicle] out front.” Later: “Party was told to leave and advised not to come back.”

A man at 42 Highland St. reported at 2:57 p.m. that two cars had been struck by a falling branch.

Police received a 2:58 p.m. report that two side mirrors had been broken on a van at 20 Wallis St.

Police responded to a 6:23 p.m. report of a dispute between two sisters at 8 Alexandra St. and subsequently arrested Virginia C. Dorsi, 56, of the same address, on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

A 6:39 p.m. report that a man had tried to break into an apartment on Main Street led to the arrest of Tremayne L. Ellison, 37, of 100 Willow St., Lynn, on a charge of disorderly conduct, subsequent offense.

A woman at 4702 Deerfield Circle reported at 7:50 p.m. that there was a dispute between her children. Police wrote later: “Juvenile was sent to room for night.”

Monday

Police received an 8:02 a.m. 911 hang-up call from a woman at 8 Alexandra St. who “seemed out of breath and very nervous,” according to the log. Police wrote: “Caller would not give any information other than she was trying to get 411. Check of the location history shows a domestic history.” Subsequently arrested was Virginia C. Dorsi, 56, of the same address, on charges of domestic assault and battery and threatening to commit a crime.
