Document reveals new details in teacher death

DANVERS —

 "I hate you all."

That's what the note found next to the partly buried body of Danvers High School teacher Colleen Ritzer when police discovered her in a wooded area adjacent to the school the morning after she was slain, court documents released this morning reveal.

Police believe that note was written by Philip Chism, a 14-year-old boy who is charged with robbing, raping and then murdering Ritzer, 24, inside a student bathroom at the school.

The detail is among many new facts contained in an affidavit released this morning, a day after Chism was indicted by an Essex County grand jury.

The affidavit by state Trooper Robert LaBarge also details a timeline, compiled from surveillance video.

Prosecutors also say he planned the attack.

This story will be updated throughout the day. Check back at salemnews.com for more details.
