Salem psychics yawn over eBay ban on services

(Continued)

The ban, which takes effect next month, was announced in eBay’s 2012 fall seller update.

Fraize said he isn’t surprised to hear that eBay is eliminating psychic services.

“People will come back (to eBay) and say, ‘Johnny so and so didn’t fall in love with me like you said’... and then they want their money back,” he said. “Or the magic spell only half-worked.

“So eBay and PayPal (an online payment service) get hit with charge-backs, and they have a hard time retrieving the money from the seller.”
