Salem: Calling all artists

SALEM — The city is seeking applications from artists and craftspeople who would like to take part in the Artists’ Row program this year.

In exchange for rent-free space, artists are required to provide free workshops and/or performances for the community. Up to three art stalls will be awarded.

The seasonal programs run from May 23 through Nov. 3.

Applications and program guidelines are available from the Planning Department, 120 Washington St., or at the city website at www.salem.com/pages/artistrow. The deadline is April 4.

A site visit will be held Thursday, March 28, at 5 p.m. For more information, call Frank Taormina at 978-619-5685.
