A woman at the Golden Banana at 151 Newbury St. reported at 2:06 p.m. that her cellphone had been stolen.
A 2:08 p.m. report of shoplifting at Nordstrom at the Northshore Mall resulted in the arrest of Brooke Cuoco, 22, of 4 Seaview Ave., Danvers, on a charge of shoplifting over $100.
A Travis Terrace woman reported at 5:08 p.m. that she had sent her taxes in via the U.S. Postal Service, but they never arrived. “An investigation was conducted by the post office, and they cannot locate the mail,” police wrote.
A Ray Street man reported at 6:27 p.m. that his vehicle had been stolen from his driveway, but the man subsequently discovered that it had been parked two streets over by his son.
Police responded to the area of Dobbs Road and Pulaski Street after a 10:13 p.m. report of a suspicious motor vehicle and determined that a man there was video chatting with his girlfriend. “Sent on his way,” police wrote.
After a 12:51 a.m. report that somebody had driven through the tennis court at Veterans Memorial High School, police arrested Robert Losanno, 18, of 4 Marion Road, Peabody, on charges of drunken driving and trespassing.
Nine vehicles on Tracey Street were cited for parking ban violations after a 5:08 a.m. request for help from the DPW. More tickets were issued on Sprague, Foster, Central and Main streets.
A “supervisor reported that a plow driver had informed him that a resident of Louis Road had “pulled a knife on him,” but police determined that it was only a verbal argument.
A MacArthur Circle woman reported that “she saw a raccoon in her yard” at 12:21 p.m. “I advised her it was not unusual,” an officer wrote. “She confirmed the animal never came in contact with anyone and is no longer on her property.”
