Church to host marrow screening for baby with rare disorder

PEABODY - St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church will host a bone marrow screening Sunday morning for 8-month-old Giovanni Guglielmo, who has a rare disorder that weakens his immune system.

Parishioner Georgia Giannias-Noe, owner of Roadhouse Pub, said she hosted a similar screening at her Pulaski Street restaurant but wanted to offer more help. She approached the Rev. Chris Foustoukos to have one at the downtown parish.Read this article in full with a
