Danversport Trust earns court approval

DANVERS - The establishment of the Danversport Trust has been approved in Salem Superior Court. The trust is a legal mechanism that allows those affected by the Nov. 22 explosion to pool their claims against those potentially responsible.

It was created in court on June 8, according to a press release issued by Safe Area for Everyone, an association of Danversport neighbors formed in the blast's aftermath. One hundred and fifty home and business owners joined the trust. Add up the family members involved, and the trust has 259 beneficiaries.Read this article in full with a
