SALEM - Students sat on the edge of their seats along with family and friends, waiting for the movies they spent the summer producing to play on the big screen at CinemaSalem on Friday.
The screening was a culmination of six weeks of work by the 65 students, ages 9 to 18, and 23 counselors in the independent summer Spotlight Program that's aimed at developing practical social skills in its students, who have Asberger's syndrome or related neurological disorders.
