Pet shelter's adoption coordinator writes book for a good claws

SWAMPSCOTT - Linda Greenberg well remembers her special trip to see a disabled man wanting a cat. He yelled out, "I'm your new daddy!" The cat, Oreo, cringed, terrified of the man's wheelchair. Within weeks, though, Greenberg got an e-mail that the two were soul mates.

That's one of the stories from Greenberg's new book, "No Fleas On Us," which details the Swampscott resident's 16 years with the no-kill Marblehead Animal Shelter. The book will begin showing up in stores next month.Read this article in full with a
