BOXFORD - A small group of Boxford and North Andover residents has formed to fight a proposed natural gas pipeline booster station on land bordering North Andover and Haverhill.
"Without your action, a potentially contaminating, noisy, unsightly and smelly gas compressor station will likely be approved and built in this area," says the Web site, stopboxfordgascompressor.com, which was posted by a group calling itself "Citizens Against Proposed Boxford Gas Compressor Station."
