Fast work by police stops Wenham car fire from spreading

WENHAM - Quick thinking by police helped stop a car fire from spreading to a garage on Lake Avenue yesterday.

Fire Chief Bob Blanchard credited the work of police Detective Mark Fraser and Patrolman Shane Kavanagh for preventing a fire in the engine compartment of a 1986 944 Porsche from spreading to the garage where it was stored. Read this article in full with a
