VIDEO: State rep candidates answer questions from The Salem News

The candidates for state rep in the 8th Essex District answered questions from The Salem News on a range of topics from casino gambling to school budgets to infrastructure during a forum Tuesday, Feb. 26. Sitting left to right were Republican John Blaisdell, Democrat Lori Ehrlich and independent Mark Barry. The winner of the special election March 4 will represent Marblehead, Swampscott and part of Lynn on Beacon Hill, replacing former state Rep. Doug Petersen.
