HAMILTON — School administrators took the biggest bites out of the Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District's budget last year, led by Superintendent Marinel McGrath, who earned $167,646 last year.
High school Principal Robert Krol was second on the list of highest-compensated school employees in 2007, making $106,730.
Cutler Elementary School Principal Jennifer Clifford was in the third spot, at $104,810, while her counterpart at Buker School, Brian O'Donoghue, made $100,867 last year.
Winthrop Elementary Principal Carrie Vaich Keefe and Miles River Middle School Principal Matthew Fox did not claim a spot in the top 50 wage earners because they were just hired last fall.
Among teachers, Patrick Sullivan led the way, making $84,733, followed closely by Kevin O'Reilly, at $83,395.
